Hopefully the Alan Wake 2 Devs will rethink their stupid decision to release the game digitally only now that the đź’© has hit the fan over the game being digitally only.
Someone at Microsoft should have realised that what they attempted to do with the Xbone was a disaster waiting to happen. Microsoft screwed up and dropped the ball with the Xbone meanwhile Sony who were watching closely did the exact opposite of what Microsoft attempted to do with the Xbone and won E3. They're doing what Microsoft attempted to do with the Xbone several years ago forcing people to connect to the internet every 24 hours if they wanted to keep playing games that combined with not being able to pass games along to other people because the game would be registered to the Xbone it was installed on and the always on Kinect which led to privacy concerns that the Kinect would be used for covert surveillance. It would be less cringy if they openly owned up to their greediness and just stated they didn't want people to resell their game. They're either outright lying, or are remarkably dumb enough to completely miss the reason why most people might be interested in a physical copy to begin with.
